Meditation is a practice. When your meditation practice is strong and thriving, you will be as well. You will find that you are much more in tune with both your physical and metaphysical body. In fact, all aspects of your life strengthen when you find time each day to clear your mind.
Today’s guided meditation is intended to guide you into a state of deep relaxation. Here, you’ll be able to open your heart and mind to experience a natural state of bliss. It is very a peaceful and a very positive guided meditation.
To begin, find a place where you can sit or lie down comfortably.
Preferably free of distractions.
Gently close your eyes if that is comfortable for you,
otherwise, let your gaze set down the bridge of your nose.
Start to bring awareness to your breath.
Slowly taking breath in and acknowledging it’s
cool feeling as it enters your body, then warming
as it travels into your lungs.
Take a long and deep inhale, feeling your
body feel with energy and a long exhale,
visualizing the body releasing toxins,
stress and negativity.
Stay with this breath, focusing on the feeling
of deep peace for ten deep inhalations and exhalations.
As you breath, you will feel warmth and tingling
take over your body. Visualize the energy from your
external environment coming together inside of you
and shining brightly, just like the sun.
Now focus on sending that energy to the crown of
your head, slowly flowing down into your face and neck,
travelling down into your shoulders, all the way
down in the arms and fingers.
Now, take note as the healing energy and light
continue down into your chest, through your ribs,
into your belly and all the way down to your hips.
Continue to notice as the energy travels down
your legs and into each one of your toes.
Your entire body is now filled with energy and light.
Look for spaces in your physical body that may need
healing energy and send that energy to those spaces.
Now turn your attention to any metaphysical areas
that may require extra energy and healing and
send the light there.
Start to focus on any intentions or desires
you may have and hold the thoughts of those
intentions or desires as you allow the healing
energy to bring these thoughts to reality.
Know that your connection to this energy and
light will help to achieve these intentions and desires.
Stay with this deep, relaxing, peaceful feeling of
bliss as you gently open your eyes.
